There's real people participating in these trials. Accurate data is crucial not only ethically but, helps ensure that the results of the trial are reliable and can be used to make informed decisions about the safety and efficacy of a drug.

Costly errors
PathAI's main customers are pharmaceutical companies, and one of the biggest challenges they face are delays in their clinical trials. Depending on the trial, a single day lost can cost the them between $600k - $8m. As part of their workflow, PathAI's process takes an average of two weeks to complete, due to a large number of errors in patient data.

A blocker to scale
As we scale to serve more customers, PathAI lacks the financial ability to grow our internal staff proportionally to assist with fixing these errors. Out estimated error rate was between 30-50% before we implemented this feature.

These new designs brought our slide error rate down from 30-50%, down to only about 13%. It also reduced the average slide turnaround time by 7 days.
